We're losing ground people !

I first saw this in USA Today about a week ago, took me a while to track it down, here's the official state government post at

www.gf.nd.gov/multimedia/news/2009/06/090602.html

that reads in part ... effective June 1

Paintball and geocaching activities on Wildlife Management Areas are now prohibited. “While these types of activities may not always create a significant impact to an individual WMA, they do create a considerable amount of unnecessary disturbance to both wildlife and wildlife habitat,” Peterson said. “They also have the potential to create competition with hunters and anglers who help pay for managing WMAs.”

A complete list of the WMA regulations is available by contacting the Game and Fish Department at (701) 328-6300, or email ndgf@nd.gov.

Man I didn't read this back when it was posted but that is a shame...I imagine it won't be long before it happens here in Colorado. Maybe the Dept of Interior/DoW/USNFS/BLM etc will come up with a season registration license for paintball just like hunters/gamers.

And how does geocaching really impact the woods and wildlife?! It's really nothing more than than taking a stroll through the forest but you are playin hide and seek with the Garmins...yawn, they are boring me already

Hey guys,

Check out this WW2 Tour Of Duty Scenario in Mountain View, MO. at Runaway Paintball.

The Ardennes Sector August 28th-29th,2010.

The Ardennes Sector WW2 scenario August 28-29,2010.at Runaway Paintball in Mountain View, MO. Based on the WW2 battle in the Ardennes Forest. This was one of Hitlers final attempts to win the war. In an attempt to punch a hole in the Americans front lines in the Ardennes forest Hitler hoped to re-capture Antwerp. This would cut off a main supply base for the Allied armies on the Western Front. He would then be able to surround Canada's 1st army, Britain's 2nd army as well as the US's 1st and 9th armies.........

This event is $65 which includes a case of paint and air/co2 if registered by August 14th. We have free camping and free fire wood. Guys come on out to this fast growing event. Check it out at: ARDENNESSECTOR.COM
