Paint It Back
Posted On 03/04/2010 17:17:25 by theprofessionalPro

Dude, this sucks I mumbled to myself. My digital combat shirt was loaded with extra 'pixels'. The faint residue of cheap orange paint collided with shades of greys, greens and tans. The terrible 's' word. Stain. It was a close quarters game against ourselves(Red Dawn), so my opponents rarely missed. Stain, stain, stain and one more for good measure. Pre-wash, soak, wash and wash again. No avail. Stained.

So, that said, what can one learn from this? Teflon coat your clothes? Nay, but rather test new brands of paint before you bring them to the field. This will insure that you will not be the cause attributed the defacement of your fellow ballers uniform. Make sure that a little water will completely cleanse the unwanted goo that is the consolation prize of an 'out' before you use it. If it's F.P.O., then you may be S.O.L., but there is only so much that can be done in such situation. Alright, Pro out.

No doubt Pro, one thing that upsets me playing with WoodsBall walk-on's is at least 1/2 the time they have crap paint they picked up at Walmart or the Surplus store on the way up the canyon. One Saturday afternoon we were playing in our usual spot and it had become popular spot among the locals after a few played with us and some walk-on's showed with MonsterBalls. We didn't check to see what paint they had before we let them in the game and that was a mistake. TPOG and many of our regular stand-ins ended up leaving cuz they wouldn't stop using it even after we offered up a bag for bag trade. we were gonna take home and use it for target shooting..... Tried to explain why they shouldn't use them but they didn't care, almost reminds me of some of the Outlaw ballers I've met.
