Tippmann Announces New U.S. Army Paintball Carver One
Posted On 02/03/2010 20:48:23 by RedDotPaintball

Tippmann is pleased to introduce the new U.S. Army Paintball Carver One – a new .68 caliber paintball marker made by Tippmann that will cost the consumer less than $100.

Carver One is the latest addition to the extremely popular and rapidly growing U.S. Army Paintball line. The new marker incorporates an array of eye catching and performance-enhancing features, including four Picatinny rails for easily adding scopes or handles, a built-in foregrip, built-in sling mounts and built-in sights. As an additional benefit, a stock and foregrip can be purchased separately, and then easily added to give Carver One a unique appearance and superior on-field control. An eGrip version of the new marker will also be available and is expected to retail for less than $150.

We are launching this new item to replace the Alpha Black Basic (the Tactical version will continue) because we wanted to give players a whole new military look for under $100. With the new Carver One, we have an expanded line that offers a realistic look with Tippmann durability at an affordable price.

The U.S. Army line sets up this way:

·         $99    Carver One Basic           &nbs p;       Realistic military look for under $100 that is upgradeable

·         $129  Alpha Black Tactical               Realistic military look right out of the box

·         $149  Project Salvo Tactical             Realistic military look that is modifiable and affordable

Initial reaction to the design and price has been exceptional; here are just a couple of comments received from core paintball players:

This Carver One appeals to me on several different levels. First, its shape is sort of reminiscent of the old carbine line, of which I am a HUGE fan. Second, the foregrip? Genius.

It’s really rather sleek-looking, and for the price you're going to be asking for it, I think this will do EXACTLY what you want it to—introduce players to the MILSIM line of play. It'll be a great introductory marker, I'm certain.

Carver One will be officially introduced at Paintball Extravaganza on February 9, and retail shipments are anticipated to begin in early March

Interesting throw back. Looks like an updated Pro-Lite.
