I was introduced to paintball in 1985, I'd started my career in the FAA at the Oakland Enroute Center where people were trying out skydiving, and "survival games" - I choose to stay safely on the ground, and fell in love with paintball. I moved to the Los Angeles area a few years later and by 1994 more than a handful of us played on a semi-regular basis as the Government Trained Assassins, "One shot, one Kill...more or less (close enough for government work!)" was our motto. By the end of the 90's I became dedicated to Scenario paintball. In early 2005 my job moved to near Tacoma WA, and then I moved again in late 2008 to Prescott AZ where I sought out Team Browncoats. I'm a lifelong fan of sci-fi and the idea of a Scenario team inspired by Firefly, Joss Whedon's daring blend of 1870's wild West and the 26th Century, was very appealing. I spent last year trying to meld with the team and it was a very good year in many ways, but now we've parted on a sour note. The new year is time for a new start.
