Alright I need some help everyone. Please help us understand completely what you would want in your "ultimate paintball field." If that is Milsim paintball, Scenario paintball, tournament, indoor it does not matter.
We are thinking of opening a field because sadly the last field closed down. However, the problem with this area (Eastern Washington State) is that there just is not much for woods so woodsball is out. If you look at Wild Old Hippie Dudes recent pictures from Arizona (one below), our summer season would look a lot like that. We have some questions about how much land you would need for a decent field set up and what kind of obstacles games you love to play. Please give us some of your insight to what is the most fun. We may be able to get 53 acres and so that is one option.
A second option would be location, location, location. We have a place in town that would be more suited to an indoor arena. 250 x 140 feet and we are thinking of a speed course and possibly a set of scenario bunkers etc. The advantage is we can combine our store if it were in town.
Please tell us what makes the most sense to you but also what you think would be the most successful for a business model. We have not made up our minds by any means and it will be very interesting to hear from the players.
